In a course of five days, the jr. high and high school group took a short term missions trip to our city in downtown Modesto at Salvation Army. During those five days, we worked on different projects, such as the 5-11 property as well as helping out with City of Modesto. Not only that but we visited five nursing homes in our city consistently for three days. We also evangelized at the Vintage Faire Mall for three days as well. This trip was the best trip that I have been to from the four trips that I have taken. I have greatly enjoyed and grew from this trip spiritually. I have also met a lot of new friends as well as grew closer with my friends. God has shown so much to me in this trip and I hope that as each trip of Detour goes by that God would just great work even better than before.
