The Best Folding Mountain Bike - Rietti 'Army Recon' Folding Mountain Bike reveal

If you need to stick to your ideas and quite naturally can not or will not sacrifice what your stand for then Rietti's latest addition to the world of folding bikes (or more specifically the 'Army recon' style of folding mountain bikes) has got your name written all over it.

In your case money may or not be an option or it just may be a case of refusing to compromise your ideals. Let's face it what you drive or what you ride says a lot about who you are; there's just no getting nearby that in today's society. Personally I all the time have been and all the time will be a sports car kind of guy. My sports car is my identity and it says as much about me as does my leather jacket, my watch, my sneaker variety and my girlfriend. It's sleek, stylish, fast, changes gears and changes pace in a hurry and on the fly and maneuvers in and out of traffic and nearby current and inherent obstacles in the blink of an eye. If I want to get downtown from my office on the outskirts of the city then I just crank up some excellent 'Prodigy' on my top of the line stereo ideas and I'm there in twenty minutes.

Army Trips Travel

Now what does this have to do with an Army Recon folding mountain bike you ask... Everything.

The Best Folding Mountain Bike - Rietti 'Army Recon' Folding Mountain Bike reveal

I'm about as likely to trade in my sports car for a truck, van, middle point wagon, house sedan or even an Suv as I am to start wearing corduroys and Dockers or boat shoes and crocs; it's just not going to happen, not now, not later, not ever. My sports car defines my style and Yes style matters, it's who I am and how I retell to my world.

Now personal history tells me lots of citizen whether don't know what they want and who they are or are too willing to compromise those things without a moment's hesitation. I can speak from personal experience. Some years back before I'd discovered the world of mountain bikes never mind the folding mountain bike or good yet the Army Recon folding mountain bike by Rietti I bought an Eagle Talon. Now being a bit of a trend setter and possessing a clear sense of personal style I also, before the fad, picked up a thin, supple lambskin button up ¾ black leather jacket on a firm trip to London, England. Although I was the first of my friends to own both a black leather jacket of this cut and style and also the first to buy an Eagle Talon I would not be the last. Shortly afterwards two of my friends proceeded to buy the coat and the car and then there were three.

Now for me my Eagle Talon served my purposes perfectly. It had decent gas mileage for a high doing machine, was relatively easy to park, could conveniently take one passenger (my girlfriend) and was uncomfortable adequate to discourage unwelcome, tag-a-longs thanks to the dinky back seat. Also importantly the back seat folded down and I could take off the wheels from my Kona 'Lavadome' mountain bike and although somewhat dirty and somewhat inconvenient in the days prior to folding mountain bikes I was able to take my mountain bike on regular off-roading weekend adventures. As for my two friends, well, six months after buying an Eagle Talon they traded it in for an Suv, a mortgage and a white picket fence with the wife and 2.5 kids. Of policy I'm exaggerating for succeed but it does make me wonder if some citizen categorically know what they're looking for if they're willing to change their mind faster than I change gears.

Now to be honest I'm not much of a gearhead or even much of an extreme/adrenaline athlete or enthusiast and I'm not keen on adding more war scars like the ones I picked up in the year that I squeezed my mountain bike into the back seat of my sports car. You see long before the good citizen at Rietti designed their Army Recon folding mountain bike, a weekend warrior had to compensate for the lack of a convenient folding mountain bike by folding his backseat instead.

While I sold my Eagle Talon long ago and my Kona mountain bike is somewhere in Thailand at my father's house the endearing message is the necessity of a folding mountain bike versus a approved issue mountain bike; especially one that is durable, trustworthy and delivers doing and style like the Army Recon folding bike from Rietti. I choose to travel light on my life journey now and neither my mother nor my sister has any extra warehouse space in their Vancouver apartment so your typical non-folding mountain bike struggles in this scenario. It appears that as big, gorgeous and untamed as Canada's outdoors may be nobody downtown or in the suburbs has any space to spare these days.

Now let's talk a bit more about Rietti's folding mountain bike. While I'm not the type brave or crazy adequate to buy a racing bike or even a high doing road bike (like my friend who snapped his collarbone last weekend), I've got no interest in an Suv in terms of gas prices, highway doing or environmental consequences and I'm not about to stick a roof rack on my sports car, it doesn't mean I don't harbor a fantasy or two of my own.

What guy doesn't like toughness, doing and panache and the Army Recon folding mountain bike has all of those qualities and then some. Personally I go for vintage motorcycles and Rietti's Army Recon look has that covered and for all of my Gq inspired style aspirations what beer drinking, hockey fight loving, steak eating, air guitar wielding self respecting red blooded Canadian male wouldn't love to get hold of the keys to a Hummer for a day. That's what the Army Recon mountain bike is to folding bikes. In a word the 'Hummer' of folding bikes. It's big, strong and durable yet somehow it possesses the excellent cool of a Harley Davidson 'Fatboy', the smooth gear shifting of my Eagle Talon and the clean, crisp lines of my black leather jacket.

If you're looking for a folding bike and not just any folding mountain bike but the one with the power, style and finesse reminiscent of your very own independent, individualistic spirit of non-compromise then there's only one choice. The Army Recon from Rietti is the only folding mountain bike on the store that possesses the same strength of character and strength of purpose that you do.

Recommended: Absolutely!

Baader Meinhof terrorist group part two of two

Baader Meinhof terrorist group part two of two Tube. Duration : 13.93 Mins.

www.facebook.com www.ceepackaging.com twitter @ceepackaging www.facebook.com The Red Army Faction (German: Rote Armee Fraktion), shortened to RAF and in its early stages commonly known as Baader-Meinhof Group, was one of post--World War II Germany's most violent and prominent left wing terror groups. The RAF described itself as a communist and anti-imperialist "urban guerrilla" group engaged in armed resistance against what they deemed to be a fascist state. The RAF was founded in 1970 by Andreas Baader, Gudrun Ensslin, Horst Mahler, and Ulrike Meinhof. The Red Army Faction existed from 1970 to 1998, committing numerous operations, especially in the autumn of 1977, which led to a national crisis that became known as "German Autumn". It was held responsible for thirty-four deaths, including many secondary targets, such as chauffeurs and bodyguards, and many injuries in its almost thirty years of activity. Although more well-known, the RAF conducted fewer attacks than the Revolutionary Cells (RZ), which is held responsible for 296 bomb attacks, arson and other attacks between 1973 and 1995. The group always called itself the "Rote Armee Fraktion". The terms "Baader-Meinhof Gang" and "Baader-Meinhof Group" or just "Baader-Meinhof" are sometimes used as nicknames for the organization. RAF never used these terms for themselves, but the German media used them to avoid legitimizing the movement as an actual political organisation. Although Meinhof was not considered to be a ...

Interview with Edward J. Bartek, WWII veteran. CCSU Veterans History Project.

Interview with Edward J. Bartek, WWII veteran. CCSU Veterans History Project. Tube. Duration : 65.93 Mins.

Interview conducted by Eileen Hurst. Edward J. Bartek enlisted in the US Navy, in 1939, at the age of 18 after spending two years in the Civilian Conservation Corps. He joined the navy in order to see the world, but in fact spend the majority of his six years in service under the deck of a boat. He went to boot camp in Rhode Island, and then went to Norfolk, VA for additional training. Bartek was stationed on the USS Ranger, the first aircraft carrier, for two and half years. He was trained as an electrician and worked under the deck for the majority of his time on ship. The United States had not yet entered into World War II, so the first six months on the ship were spent doing patrols of the Atlantic Ocean. Their mission was to watch for German submarines, and to transport troops to Africa. Bartek describes his time on the ship as being much like sensory deprivation, as he very rarely was above the water line, and the sailors only left the ship for land once every six months. The bombing of Pearl Harbor took place while the Ranger was patrolling, and they were immediately sent back to Norfolk, VA (their home port) to begin training for the war in the Pacific. Bartek was then transferred to the USS Beale, a destroyer, where he became the supervising electrician for the next two and half years. The Beale was part of 11 invasions, 2 sea battles, and was the target for numerous air and shore attacks. The Beale played a part in the Invasion of the Philippines, and the ...

American Road: The Story of an Epic Transcontinental Journey at the Dawn of the Motor Age Overview

A fascinating account of the greatest road trip in American history.

On July 7, 1919, an extraordinary cavalcade of sixty-nine military motor vehicles set off from the White House on an epic journey. Their goal was California, and ahead of them lay 3,250 miles of dirt, mud, rock, and sand. Sixty-two days later they arrived in San Francisco, having averaged just five miles an hour. Known as the First Transcontinental Motor Train, this trip was an adventure, a circus, a public relations coup, and a war game all rolled into one. As road conditions worsened, it also became a daily battle of sweat and labor, of guts and determination.

American Road is the story of this incredible journey. Pete Davies takes us from east to west, bringing to life the men on the trip, their trials with uncooperative equipment and weather, and the punishing landscape they encountered. Ironically one of the participants was a young soldier named Dwight Eisenhower, who, four decades later, as President, launched the building of the interstate highway system. Davies also provides a colorful history of transcontinental car travel in this country, including the first cross-country trips and the building of the Lincoln Highway. This richly detailed book offers a slice of Americana, a piece of history unknown to many, and a celebration of our love affair with the road.

Grandpa Outhwaite's Slideshow (Bill Outhwaite)

Grandpa Outhwaite's Slideshow (Bill Outhwaite) Tube. Duration : 7.82 Mins.

A slideshow for my Grandpa's memorial service. July 12, 1920 -- August 12, 2010 Bill was born July 12, 1920 in Oxbow, SK; where he lived, went to school and worked on the family farm until he enlisted with the South Saskatchewan Regiment on October 11, 1939. In June of 1940 he was shipped overseas to begin training which took place in England and Scotland. Bill excelled in the army soon achieving the rank of Sergeant Major. Bill saw action through Europe including, France, Belgium, Holland and Germany. A brave and decorated soldier he was awarded a Certificate of Merit for outstanding service by Field Marshall BL Montgomery. Bill was honourably discharged from the service in September 1945. Bill's greatest wartime achievement was meeting and marrying the love of his life and bride for sixty nine years, Winifred (Peggy) Alice Baker. The two met at a dance, winning the "spot dance" the first night, and following their courtship they were married by the South Saskatchewan Regimental Padre in St. Mary's Anglican Church, London,England on August 17, 1941. Peggy returned to Canada first, as most war brides did, arriving in Oxbow to be greeted by Bill's parents Robert and Beatrice in the horse and buggy. Peggy eventually overcame her "culture" shock, fitting in with the small community. When Bill returned to Oxbow they jointly owned and operated a café. In 1947 they ventured to the bright lights of Estevan purchasing a bowling alley and pool Hall. As budding entrepreneurs they ...

Entry: "And so from the mountain splendour of Mount Cook we headed south via the splendid Lindis Pass, to Wanaka, and promptly fell in love with the place. WANAKA Wanaka is set prettily around the shores of Lake Wanaka (funny that!), and is small and personal with loads of space, a beautiful town centre and the mountains (yes more of them) of Mount Aspiring National Park looming in the distance at the far end of the lake. We stayed for 2 days - the first not doing much other than mooching about town and visiting Puzzling World. This extravaganza of illusions was set up by some fanatic called Stuart Landsborough, the highlights being the tilting room where everything appears to defy gravity (just made us feel sick), and the Giant Maze. This massive labyrinth challenges you to reach the 4 colour-coded corner towers then find your way out. We did the first bit fairly quickly, but could we find our way out? Oh no! Marcus took around 45 minutes, and as I ran frantically back & forth and round & round in circles, I could see him smugly sitting in the cafe chomping on an ice cream. In the end I had to get him to come back in and rescue me, or I'd still be in there now! Free again, we pootled up the road to the ...

DE student & pastor testimonies

DE student & pastor testimonies Video Clips. Duration : 9.17 Mins.

DE—Discipleship Encounter—is a 15 week intensive discipleship program aimed at taking today's youth deeper in their relationships with Jesus Christ. Justin & Melissa Graham, youth pastors at Central Parkway Church of God in Cincinnati, Ohio, wanted to create something that wouldn't just sound good, but it would look good and feel good—teaching and walking in true discipleship with and for Christ. Melissa began writing the program over 5 years ago and it has revolutionized the youth ministry, as well as the whole ministry at Central Parkway. "In todays generation I believe that God is training up a mighty army of young men and women to fight for His truth in a dark and perverse world. Young people who are passionate about loving their savior and saving their world; the only way to really have this kind of love and passion is to truly know Christ, in a personal way. Knowing Christ is so much more than just going to church, joining fun youth trips and attending bible studies, it is a daily walk that must be followed with a life that is totally surrendered to Jesus Christ. Salvation is just the beginning but how do you grow in your walk with Christ from there? It is the journey of growth wherein lies the true fulfillment in our Savior and our relationship with Him. That being said, give of yourself for 15 weeks, totally to God and learning more of Him and watch Him change everything about you. I am a firm believer that young people will rise to the standard that is put upon ...

Hennessy Hammock Review and Demonstration envirosponsible Video Clips. Duration : 5.62 Mins.

Thinking about buying a Hennessy Hammock? Check out this video review and demonstration for information that may help you make a decision on your purchase. Personally, I love their sleeping system. They're lightweight, comfortable, easy to set up, and keep the person inside dry. That said, cold-weather camping can be challenging in a hammock. Similar to an icing bridge, wind that blows on the underside of the hammock rapidly cools the occupant's backside. An air mattress is an easy remedy, and I've heard good things about under quilts. I highly recommend the Hennessy Hammock and will use one for my camping trips 3 seasons out of 4. hennessyhammock.com Please leave comments and feedback.

Pontiac/NHRA/Wiley X/Jim Yates/USAF Interview/Spangdahlem AB Video Clips. Duration : 4.02 Mins.

RAMSTEIN AB, Germany, Nov. 19, 2007 - A group of goodwill ambassadors from the NHRA have just completed a three-day USO-sponsored tour of US Military installations in Germany, including the Kaiserslautern Military Community, Landstuhl Regional Medical Center, Spangdahlem Air Base and the US Army Garrison at Baumholder. It was the third consecutive post-season visit for the drivers, and the brief but memorable time spent with the troops and their families provided an opportunity to make some new friends and see some familiar faces. Six-time NHRA Pro Stock champion Warren Johnson, two-time NHRA Pro Stock champion Jim Yates, Funny Car driver Tommy Johnson Jr., and Top Fuel drivers Cory McClenathan and Melanie Troxel represented the sport of drag racing during the 72-hour troop-morale mission to Germany. As in the two previous post-season trips, the Army Special Forces Association, Randall Shughart Chapter 64, based in Carlisle, Pa. served as the vanguard for this year's visit and the 435th Services Squadron at Ramstein AB hosted the group during its stay in Germany. The drivers met race fans at five different military installations and at over 15 different locations during their stay. They also distributed over 1500 goody bags which included racing caps, tee-shirts, racing decals and other items, signed an even greater number of autographs and brought smiles of appreciation to the faces of everyone they met. An army of Short-beaked Common Dolphins Video Clips. Duration : 1.25 Mins.

An army of short-beaked "Saddleback" dolphins comes over to investivate Grande on a San Diego Bird Festival Pelagic Trip. Seen in this movie: Todd McGrath, Steve NG Howell, Thomas Blackman. Photographer: W. Terry Hunefeld The San Diego Bird Festival pelagic trips were enjoyed by nearly 150 participants this past week, many of whom were at sea observing pelagic birds and mammals for the first time. Seabirds and marine mammals are elusive creatures and can be extremely difficult to observe and understand, and participants enjoyed a steady stream of interpretation both one-on-one and over the public address system creating a context of understanding, connectedness and appreciation about what they were seeing. Especially telling was how the trips were enjoyed by newcomers and experienced pelagic birders alike. Trip reports of all SoCal trips are always posted to www.SoCalBirding.com within 48 72 hours of the trip. Click the Trip Reports link to see all the past SoCal pelagic trips in chronological order. The reason for the 48 hour posting delay is to allow time for the leaders (1) to enter the sightings into eBird and (2) for photographers to download, edit and forward their photos. Highlights of this years three Bird Festival pelagic trips included a Blue-footed Booby 5.1 miles offshore doing eight close laps around Grande, up to 26 Brown Boobies around the Coronados Islands, two Manx Shearwaters; an extremely rare sighting of a Common Murre in Mexican waters; 16 Pink-footed ...

I hope you all enjoy my FREE video slide show of the Civil War Monuments at ...

Israeli Nazi Eugenic Experiments on Jewish children 5/5

Israeli Nazi Eugenic Experiments on Jewish children 5/5 Video Clips. Duration : 8.58 Mins.

5 100000 Jewish immigrant children were experimented on with high lethal doses of radiation in 1951 overseen by Shimon Peres and sponsored by the USA. The director general of the Israeli Health Ministry, Dr. Chaim Sheba, flew to America and returned with seven x-ray machines, supplied to him by the American army. They were to be used in a mass atomic experiment with an entire generation of Sephardi youths to be used as guinea pigs. Every Sephardi child was to be given 35000 times the maximum dose of x-rays through his head. For doing so, the American government paid the Israeli government 300 million Israeli liras a year. The entire Health budget was 60 million liras. The money paid by the Americans is equivalent to billions of dollars today. To fool the parents of the victims, the children were taken away on "school trips" and their parents were later told the x-rays were a treatment for the scourge of scalpal ringworm. 6000 of the children died shortly after their doses were given, while many of the rest developed cancers that killed thousands over time and are still killing them now. While living, the victims suffered from disorders such as epilepsy, amnesia, Alzheimer's disease, chronic headaches and psychosis. Because the whole body was exposed to the rays, the genetic makeup of the children was often altered, affecting the next generation. We watch the woman with the distorted face explain, "All three of my children have the same cancers my family suffered. Are you ...

State of emergency: What life is really like in Bangkok

State of emergency: What life is really like in Bangkok Tube. Duration : 1.03 Mins.

Bangkok is under a government imposed state of emergency after red-clad protesters stormed the parliament compound on Wednesday, forcing some lawmakers to flee via helicopter. It was the latest -- and most provocative -- move by the anti-government demonstrators, who are trying to force Prime Minister Abhisit Vejjajiva to dissolve parliament and force elections. The state of emergency is designed to give the army enforced powers to disperse the protesters. But it's unclear when that will happen. The protests have been going on in Bangkok for more than three weeks, and many may be considering leaving the country or cancelling their trips here. Here's a view of the reality on the ground: Without making light of the situation, so far there has been nothing to suggest the protests are putting anyone in any danger. But remember that despite having been peaceful until now, these things can always turn chaotic. Often without any warning. In much of Bangkok, the protests haven't changed daily life The portions of the Thai capital that the protesters have seized are small given the size of this enormous city. The original protest site, close to the Chao Phraya river along Rajadamnoen Road, isn't a place tourists are likely to visit, although it's within walking distance of the Khao San Road backpacker district. The airport is still open, and protesters haven't said they'll occupy it, as their yellow-shirted political opponents did in November 2008. Taxis are still readily ...

Detour 2010: Picture Slideshow

Detour 2010: Picture Slideshow Tube. Duration : 11.52 Mins.

In a course of five days, the jr. high and high school group took a short term missions trip to our city in downtown Modesto at Salvation Army. During those five days, we worked on different projects, such as the 5-11 property as well as helping out with City of Modesto. Not only that but we visited five nursing homes in our city consistently for three days. We also evangelized at the Vintage Faire Mall for three days as well. This trip was the best trip that I have been to from the four trips that I have taken. I have greatly enjoyed and grew from this trip spiritually. I have also met a lot of new friends as well as grew closer with my friends. God has shown so much to me in this trip and I hope that as each trip of Detour goes by that God would just great work even better than before.
