PLEASE READ (thanks) Not many people outside of Clay's fan base know of his ongoing inspirational work with UNICEF. Many people just know the "Clay Aiken" they hear about in unscrupulous tabloid articles and in jokes made by comedians. Yet, despite all that he has had to endure, Clay Aiken has risen above the rumors and innuendos. Recently, this amazing man with a "heart of gold" has finally found incredible happiness and joy with the birth of his first child - a son named Parker. The love and joy that he has shared with countless children around the world with his work for UNICEF has finally found its way into his own private life. Just over five years ago, Clay pledged on the American Idol stage to make a difference in the lives of others. He has far surpassed all expectations and given new meaning to the concept of an "American Idol". Cheers to this man with the "heart of gold" and may each new day with Parker bring him the happiness and joy that he has so unselfishly shared with countless others.
